The Inaugural Mother of Pearl Brunch was a fantastic success!  The ladies of Huntsville Junior Service League played host to a wonderful event celebrating the spirit of volunteerism and service.  Our guests enjoyed a yummy brunch graciously prepared by Aramark Catering.  Featured speaker, Nancy Gaertner, former First Lady of Sam Houston State University, discussed the importance of volunteering within the community.  Through ticket sales, sponsorships, raffle and auction, the event made nearly $7000 to be used for the endowment scholarship and various league projects.  We truly appreciate the involvement of each person who helped to make the first ever Mother of Pearl Brunch a success!  We are especially thankful for the companies and individuals who sponsored our efforts…SPEC Consulting Group, Debbie Allen, Dr. BJ Atkins, Walker County Ace Hardware, The Carriage Inn, Aramark Catering, Picture Perfect Images, Ernst Jewelers, Heartfield Florist, and Able’s Mercantile.
