We had such a great time volunteering this morning at the Santa Fun Run, benefitting the Senior Center of Walker County!  The event featured a one mile fun run/walk, 25 yard dash for the little bitty kiddos, 100 yard dash for the older kids, an ugly sweater contest, Santa costume contest, and lots of laughs!  The kids were surprised by visits from local firefighters, the HEB Buddy, and Smokey the Bear.

It was a fun morning of fundraising for such an important charity!  The Senior Center hosts many local seniors each day for bingo, dominoes, crafts, lunch and more activities.  The center also runs the vital Meals on Wheels program which delivers food to homebound seniors in our area.  We were honored to have helped with their inaugural fun run!
