Walker County hosted its very first Special Olympics Invitational last Thursday. Five teams competed in various track and field events.   It was a gorgeous day to watch some extremely special athletes showcase their talents and hard work.

Happiness spread throughout the fans, volunteers, parents, cheerleaders and anyone fortunate enough to be present.   The day was full of the most beautiful smiles!!
