The Huntsville Junior Service League is happy to support our neighbors by delivering lunch through the Meals on Wheels program at the Senior Center of Walker County every Friday.  The Senior Center delivers meals every weekday to many community members who cannot easily get out of their homes or prepare meals.  This is a great service and a reward to those who deliver and see the smiles of the recipients.

You can help too!  The center is in need of drivers for three routes in our area.  One route is on Monday, one on Thursday, and one on is Friday.  Most routes take less than an hour to complete.  The deliveries begin at 10:00am. Can you spare an hour of your week to help feed those who wouldn’t have a meal without this service?  Maybe your church group, service organization, or group of friends can share the commitment.  You will not regret it!!
