We are thankful for this community and the heart the people of Huntsville have for one another! Two weeks before Thanksgiving we accepted donations in front of the Huntsville Brookshire Brothers to purchase bags of food to stock the Head Start food pantry that would help to feed families over the long Thanksgiving break.

Over two days, $365 was collected and food bags purchased.  Our own JSL tradition is to match the dollar amount received in donations during our shifts outside of Brookshire Brothers.  We made a donation of $365 which was used to buy whole Thanksgiving dinners for 6 families.  What a great Thanksgiving tradition!

We are grateful for all who help our fundraising efforts so that we are able to give back to worthy projects and organizations in Walker County.  Thank you for eating pie and brunching with us so we can feed families!!
