The 2nd Annual Santa Shop and Mobile Food Truck event was such a great success!! The weather was completely frightful, but volunteers for both the Santa Shop and the Food Truck waded through the rain to serve together! We are so completely thankful for all who braved the weather to bless our community through distribution of food and gifts.
The Santa Shop was visited by 175 kids representing 98 families in Walker County and our elves gave away over 600 gifts! Each family of kiddos was able to shop for the adults in their life and leave the shop with wrapped presents and lots of smiles! We know that they will be so proud to present their parents with gifts on Christmas morning!

Thank you to Kroger for allowing us to borrow carts for the food truck and to Bill Fick Ford for arranging for the delivery and return of the carts. They were such a huge help! And, a big thank you to all our volunteers for the Mobile Food Truck! With the weather as downright awful as it was, we are so appreciative of each of you who honored your commitment and came to serve with us!
