Food Truck smiles kept us warm despite the dreary weather!

Wow was it a cold day, but our hearts were warmed with the smiles of our guests and volunteers! The food truck was packed full of produce and dairy products that over 100 families were able to take home.

We are thankful for the support of Huntsville Church of Christ for opening their doors to the community, to HEB for allowing us to borrow grocery carts to help our guests easily get the food to their cars, and Walmart for donating bags. We also appreciate the crisis counselors with the Texans Recovering Together Crisis Counseling Program at Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare for helping those who still struggle with lingering issues from Hurricane Harvey. As always, we are grateful HEB for providing excellent education about nutrition to all in attendance.

Thanks to all who volunteered with us!  Without the help of the community, we could not provide this much needed service. Please consider joining us at the June 9th food truck event.  Sign up to be a volunteer at this LINK.
