Good Shepherd Mission is in need of more volunteers to help serve even more families in our community! Beginning Tuesday, May 1st the Good Shepherd Mission is expanding their food distribution in Huntsville and Walker County to 5 days a week.

They are looking for volunteers who can commit to working one 3-hour shift each week: Monday through Friday, 9am – 12pm. Volunteer jobs include welcoming recipients, answering phones, entering data, printing food and clothing vouchers, handing out food and restocking shelves. Additional volunteers are also needed to sort and pack groceries.

Good Shepherd Food Bank currently distributes food to 650 households (including 500 children) every month. You can help them serve even more.
