Sweet bread sales = sweet dough for 3 local charities!

Our Braided Bread fundraiser last Fall was a giant success and now 3 local charities have received financial blessings! It was our honor to present Arise2Read, Hope’s Bridge and CASA with checks totaling $3800. Thank you to all who purchased the yummy breads and made these donations possible.

Arise2Read Executive Director, Holly McMichael, was excited to receive $1500 to use for purchasing backpacks and books to present to all 2nd graders in Huntsville ISD for summer reading.  To learn more about Arise2Read, check out their Facebook page here.

Julie Davis was happy to represent Hope’s Bridge and recieve $2000 to use for building more shelves, purchasing more bins for organizing donations and purchasing much needed hygiene items, underwear and socks.  To learn more about how Hope’s Bridge helps foster families, click here.

Another $300 was donated to CASA to aid in caring for foster children. Check out more about CASA here.
