Due to Hurricane Laura evacuations, Huntsville High School and Mance Park Middle School are now activated emergency shelter sites serving Gulf Coast evacuees.

At this time, there is a great need for volunteers.  There are day shifts, night shifts and potentially shifts over the weekend. The greatest needs are serving at the 4pm-7pm shift and the 7pm-10pm shift. Per county guidelines, volunteers must be over 18.

Both sites are also in need of items for babies such as diapers, wipes, high chairs, and crib / pack and play. No baby clothes are needed at this time.
