The month of Love is soon upon us and our community has many organizations hosting fundraisers to help continue their good works. Although we are not directly involved with all of these events, we do want to help publicize the opportunities to support local charities.
January 27 & 28th – Fundraiser for Project Sunshine at Magnolia Mey Boutique. Shop at Magnolia Mey Boutique from 11-5:30 on Wednesday the 27th or 11-7:30 on Thursday the 28th and 10% of all sales will be donated to Project Sunshine. For more information, click here.
February 1st, 8th , and 22nd Buffalo Wild Wings will be hosting EAT WINGS.RAISE FUNDS for the Senior Center of Walker County. The Senior Center is provides a place for our senior citizens to gather for activities, organizes trips to the grocery store, and feed seniors daily at the center and through the Meals on Wheels program. February 9th Eclectic Café’s Empty Bowls Event benefitting Meals on Wheels in Walker County. Empty Bowls raises money for Hunger Relief with proceeds going to Meals on Wheels of Walker County. Guests receive a souvenir bowl, soup, bread and tea, coffee and water. For more information, click here.
February 11th – Campbell Ranch & Donna’s Home Furnishings Present “DESIGNER PURSE BINGO” benefitting the SAAFE House. Tickets may be purchased at the SAAFE House for $35 in advance or may be purchased at the door for $45. For more information, check out the event Facebook page here.
