Spring is just around the corner which means PROM season is coming soon!  JSL has an easy way you can help a young lady attend the big night with our annual Say Yes to the Dress.

Studies say the average prom dress costs $212, but many of today’s hot designs cost much, much more!  This high cost coupled with beauty appointments, shoes, and jewelry makes Prom an unachievable dream for so many young ladies.  That’s where you can help by partnering with JSL! Donations of in-style formal dresses are now being accepted so that the ladies of Huntsville High School can say YES to the DRESS!Here’s how it works…Huntsville JSL collects gently used, in-style formal dresses and donates to Huntsville High School.  A FREE “store” is set up at the school and all young ladies are invited to “shop” for the perfect dress.  It is a fun event full of fun and smiles!  Finding the right dress at zero personal cost allows some ladies to attend prom where they may not have been able.  All sizes are needed, so clean out your closet and make a Prom dream come true! If you have dresses you want to donate, there are several ways to get your dress into the hands of a Huntsville Hornet…

1. Drop off at Huntsville High School.
2. Take your donation to Salon ADK at 1526 Sam Houston Avenue.
3. Visit Farm Gypsies located at 1329 University Avenue and leave your dresses.
4. Drop off dresses at First Financial Bank at 33 State Hwy. 75N.
5. Contact any member of JSL for assistance in delivering your dresses.

We are also collecting gift cards for services that will help to ease the financial burden of Prom.  Donations for gift cards for hair styling, manicures, makeup sessions, car services and more would be gladly accepted.
